He also leads product strategy, ensuring delivery of long-term value to clients. Joe sits on the firm’s Management Committee.

Joe brings strong leadership, a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of global financial markets. He is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of experience in investment strategy, risk management, product development, and business transformation. Over the course of his career Joe has held multiple key leadership positions across investment, client and operational roles. Before joining the firm, he spent more than a decade in senior leadership positions at National Bank of Canada, where he led investment solutions and business strategy for one of Canada’s largest wealth management platforms. Earlier in his career, Joe was a strategy consultant at Roland Berger, advising global financial institutions on growth and transformation. His background combines strategic consulting, investment leadership, and wealth management, giving him a unique perspective on today’s investment landscape and the future of asset management.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and an MBA from INSEAD. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification.

Sylvain Boulé

President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Sylvain Boulé is President and Chief Executive Officer of Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. since 2000. With more than 30 years of experience in the investment industry, he has played a leading role in shaping the firm’s corporate strategy, growth, and development. He chairs the firm’s Management Committee and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of MBI/TEC Private Debt GP Inc. and as a Director of Montrusco Bolton Investments UCITS ICAV in Ireland.

Prior to his current role, he held various executive positions within the firm with a focus on client relationship and had previously held an investment management role at a reputable North American organization.

Sylvain holds a bachelor’s degree from the Université de Montréal and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Concordia University. He further enhanced his executive leadership expertise through the Global Executive Program at Columbia Business School in 1998.

Sylvain has been actively involved in the community for many years, supporting initiatives focused on children, education, and broader social causes, including programs that promote inclusion and community development.  Today he is also a Director of the Quebec Emerging Manager Program (QEMP), which promotes the growth of financial entrepreneurship and emerging investment management firms in Quebec. His extensive industry experience and long-standing leadership have made him a key figure in the Canadian investment management industry.

Dina Fakhry

Executive Vice President

Dina Fakhry is Executive Vice President at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. Leveraging more than 25 years experience in the financial industry, she works closely with the CEO and senior leaders across the firm to advance the firm’s strategic priorities, bringing an enterprise-wide perspective to support organizational alignment, coordination, and execution. She also sits on the firm’s Management Committee and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.

Previously, Dina served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer at MBI from 2022 to 2026, where she oversaw the firm’s operational functions, including Finance, Compliance, Governance and Risk Management, Operations, Information Technology, and Data Analytics. Prior to joining the firm, Dina worked in investment management and banking, where she held various senior leadership roles across finance, project management, performance management, corporate strategy, and operations.

Dina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University.

Karine Gareau

Vice President, People and Culture

Karine Gareau is Vice President, People and Culture at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. She joined the firm in 2020 as Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer before being promoted to Manager, Culture and Talent in 2022, and Vice President, People and Culture in 2024. Since joining, she has contributed to several strategic and transformational initiatives supporting the firm’s evolution, talent development and employee experience. Working with her team, Karine works closely with the firm’s leaders to advance management practices, foster an engaging culture and ensure alignment between teams and the organization’s strategic priorities. She also sits on the firm’s Management Committee.

Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Karine spent seven years at TC Transcontinental, where she held management positions in customer service and collections operations before serving as Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Officer.

Karine holds a certificate in Human Resources Management from HEC Montréal and is a certified Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) through the Happiness Business School in Portugal.

Marc Drolet

Vice President, Head of Client Servicing

Marc Drolet is Vice President, Head of Client Servicing at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. and sits on the Management Committee. Since joining the firm in 2021, he has been responsible for leading the client servicing function and fostering strong relationships with institutional clients. With over 20 years of experience advising institutional investors, Marc brings deep expertise in pension plans, investment strategy, risk management, and client relationship management.

Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Marc was a Principal in the Asset and Risk Management practice at Morneau Shepell (now TELUS Health), one of Canada’s largest pension and benefits consulting firms, where he spent the majority of his career advising institutional clients on investment, asset-liability management, and risk matters

Marc holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Claude-André Duquette

Claude-André Duquette is Senior Vice President, Head of Business Development and Marketing at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc., where he leads the firm’s business development initiatives. Leveraging more than 25 years of experience in financial industry, since joining the firm in 2019, he has played a key role in strengthening client relationships, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and expanding the firm’s presence within the institutional investment marketplace. Claude-Andre sits on the firm’s Management Committee.

Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Claude-André held business development and trading roles at the Bank of Montreal, National Bank, Swiss private bank Pictet, and Baader Helvea. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong background across institutional markets, client relationship management, capital markets, and equity trading, working closely with a broad range of institutional investors and financial market participants.

Claude-André earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the Université de Montréal. He also holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and has passed the Series 65 examination (NASAA Uniform Investment Adviser Law).

John Goldsmith

John Goldsmith brings over 25 years of experience in North American equity markets. John is Head of Canadian Equities at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. and is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the benchmark aware Canadian Small Cap Fund and dividend strategies. He joined the firm in April 2004 as a Senior Equity Analyst, covering the natural resources, telecom and health care sectors. John became a portfolio manager in April 2009. Prior to joining the firm, John worked as a financial analyst at CN Pension Fund. He also worked for CIBC and RBC Dominion Securities. John has an MBA specialized in Finance from McGill University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designations. John has also obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations as well as the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate.

Jean-Claude Ayotte

Jean-Claude is Senior Vice President, Operations and Corporate Affairs, and sits on the firm’s Management Committee. With nearly 35 years of experience at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc., he draws on his extensive knowledge of the firm to support the Operations, Information Technology, Data Analytics, and Governance teams, while also contributing to strategic initiatives that support the firm’s long-term development.

Before assuming his current responsibilities, Jean-Claude spent many years serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).

Jean-Claude holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting sciences from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).

Ale Niang, BSC. Sci, DESS IT

Ale Niang is Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer of Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. In this capacity, he is responsible for the firm’s technological alignment with respect to its business objectives. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, he served as a corporate project manager and director of information technology at WSP, formerly Genivar. Ale is a graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences and a graduate diploma in information technology. He also holds an Executive MBA (EMBA) from Université de Sherbrooke.

Benoit Bourdages

Benoît Bourdages is Vice President, Operations at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. and has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. Benoît is responsible for portfolio administration, back-office trading, pricing and market events, reconciliation, performance, attribution, GIPS compliance and fund operations. Prior to joining the firm in 1996, he worked for National Trust. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specialized in finance from HEC Montréal and earned the right to use the CFA Institute’s Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement^TM designation.

Karine Gareau

Vice President, People and Culture

Karine Gareau is Vice President, People and Culture at Montrusco Bolton Investment Inc. Her journey within the company began as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO in 2020, before she transitioned to the role of Manager, Culture and Talent in 2022 and to her new role in 2024. During this time, she has been involved in strategic and transformational projects. The development of culture holds a central position among Montrusco Bolton’s strategic priorities. Karine works closely with all team leaders to mobilize employees and align their efforts towards achieving the set development goals. She reports directly to the President and CEO and sits on the company’s management committee. Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Karine gained extensive experience at TC Transcontinental, where she held positions as a team leader in both the recovery and customer service sectors, as well as Executive Assistant to the CIO in the field of information technology. Karine holds a certificate in Human Resources Management from HEC Montréal, and she is certified as a Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) by the Happiness Business School (Portugal).

Fabrice Léger

Fabrice Léger is Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. and sits on the firm’s Management Committee. In his role, he oversees the firm’s financial activities, maintains strong accounting discipline, and provides financial insight that supports decision-making across the organization. His leadership contributes to the firm’s strategic direction, operational effectiveness and long-term business objectives.

Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Fabrice accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has held several key finance positions at leading investment organizations, including Fiera Capital, Fonds de solidarité FTQ and PSP Investments. He has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to support financial performance, planning and strategic initiatives.

Marc Lecavalier has built a distinguished career in the investment industry, known for his expertise, discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding returns. He began his career at Natcan Investment Management, which later became Fiera Capital, where he perfectioned his bottom-up approach and sharpened his talent for identifying small and mid cap investment opportunities.

His contribution to the industry was recognized in 2016 when he was named Mutual Fund Manager of the Year by Investment Executive, an honor that complements the numerous Lipper awards won by his Funds over the years . Prior to joining the firm in October 2009 as an analyst covering the consumer sectors, Kimberly worked as a research analyst for the EAFE equity team at Jarislowsky Fraser in Montreal. Richard Guay is Senior Vice President, Institutional Markets at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Richard was a principal at State Street Global Advisors, where he was involved mainly in institutional investor relations. Previously, Richard was a financial analyst with the Bank of Canada where he was involved in domestic and international financing. He also taught at the business school of the Université du Québec à Montréal. Vice President, Institutional Markets

Simon Tremblay is Vice President, Institutional Markets at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc., a key member of the business development team focused on institutional investors across the Canadian and US markets. He joined the firm in 2025 after more than 20 years in institutional equity sales and trading at leading Canadian and US investment banks, most recently as Managing Director, and began his career as a financial engineer and trader serving major Canadian pension funds.

Simon holds a BBA from Université Laval and completed studies at Aston Business School. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification, the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). Amanda Ramos

Amanda Ramos is Manager, Regulatory Compliance and Risk at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. She is a lawyer (Paris and Quebec Bar) with almost 10 years of experience in the regulatory sector (both in finance and in administration). Prior to joining the company in 2024, Amanda spent three years at Otéra Capital (CDPQ), where she served as Regulatory Compliance Principal Adviser for the North American Real Estate Finance portfolio. Before that, she worked as a lawyer at Osborne Clarke, an international law firm in Paris, litigating and advising on public contracts and regulatory matters in the public sector, having earlier interned at several law firms. Amanda qualified as a lawyer in France in January 2016 and in Quebec in 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law and three master’s degrees: one in administrative business law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, one from the Ecole de formation professionnelle des barreaux’s Institute of Public Business Law (“EFB”), and one from the University of Paris 11 (France).

Jason Szczepkowski is Vice President, Assistant Head of Client Servicing at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has been responsible for overseeing client servicing activities across North America and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investors. With more than 25 years of experience in the asset management industry, Jason is a seasoned relationship management professional with extensive expertise in client service, account management, and institutional investment support.

Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Jason held senior client servicing and relationship management roles at RBC, GE Asset Management, and State Street Global Advisors. Throughout his professional journey, he has worked closely with institutional clients, helping them navigate investment solutions while ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University with a major in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), and the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate. Previously, Alia worked as an Investment Officer for an impact investment fund dedicated to SMEs in Madagascar. Julie brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, consulting, and business operations, contributing a diverse perspective to client servicing and relationship management. Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton, Julie held positions with organizations including Deloitte Canada, Hardy Normand & Associés, SNC, and Fujitsu. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in financial analysis, accounting, client relations, and

strategic business support, providing valuable insight across a range of industries and organizational environments.

Prior to joining the firm in July 2014, Simon worked as a senior analyst at Al Nahdha Investment (Abu Dhabi). Robert Gwinn, who brings more than 15 years of experience supporting international and global equity strategies. Robert previously worked alongside Egor at RMB Capital Management and served as a Senior Analyst for over 10 years at WCM Investment Management, with additional experience in credit analysis and strategic finance.

Giacomo (Jack) Maggiore is Senior Equity Analyst at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Jack worked as an analyst at Valsef Capital and as an investment associate at Vestcor Investment Management, namely in alternative investing. Jack graduated with Distinction from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business, earning a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, and was inducted Beta Gamma Sigma. Chanthân Chea joined Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. in October 2019 and is responsible for the liquid strategies segment of the Montrusco Bolton Alternative Fund (“MBAF”). She worked for a major public pension plan for over 10 years in risk control, risk management, and in public markets in general. Her primary role is to oversee the alternative investments in public markets that complement private markets in the Alternative Fund. Her experience in capital markets also allows her to take charge of money market activities and to play an important role in fixed income management. Chanthân holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from HEC Montréal and the Professional Risk Manager designation (PRM) awarded by the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA).

Jean-Claude Ayotte is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. Jean-Claude worked for the firm from 1988 to 2000 and returned in 2005. Between 2000 and 2005, he was Assistant Vice President, Finance and Controller for the venture capital firm Argo Global Capital. Jean-Claude graduated in accounting science in 1986 from Université du Québec à Montréal and obtained the Certified Management Accountants designation in 1990 (CPA).
