Welcoming Saloua Benkhouya, New Member to our Board of Directors

Montreal, September 13, 2022 – Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. announces a change in membership on its Board of Directors.
Benoit Leroux, Director of Investments at Fonds de solidarité FTQ, had served as a member of Montrusco Bolton’s Board of Directors since September 2018. On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, he gave up his seat to his colleague Saloua Benkhouya, VP Investments and Services at FTQ. Ms. Benkhouya joins our Board of Directors to bring her knowledge and experience.
Saloua Benkhouya has accumulated 18 years of international experience as an executive in financial services. Saloua had the privilege of living and working in several countries which shaped her global perspective and awareness. She is known for her inclusive, authentic and highly energetic leadership style. She worked for leading global organisations including HSBC Bank, SNC Lavalin and RBC Bank covering different sectors spanning healthcare, real estate, infrastructure, media and entertainment. She joined Fonds de Solidarité FTQ as Vice President, Impact Investing and Private Equity in May 2022. She’s a long-term investor and has taken an interest in backing female and underrepresented founders.
She holds an MBA and a B.Sc in Mathematics from McGill University. Saloua is a Fintech and AI enthusiast and completed executive certificates in both topics at Harvard and MIT. She is the secretary of the board for Women in Finance Association in Quebec (AFFQ) and board member of Robotique First Quebec. Saloua is an active mentor with Max Mentors and Max Aspire. She co-founded a podcast, Femmes et Innovation. Saloua Benkhouya is a proud mother of 2 young boys, Adam and Elias. She is passionate about women leadership development, youth education and promoting DEI.
