Jean-Claude Ayotte is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. Jean-Claude worked for MBII from 1988 to 2000 and returned to MBII in 2005. Between 2000 and 2005, he was Assistant Vice President, Finance and Controller for the venture capital firm Argo Global Capital. Jean-Claude graduated in accounting science in 1986 from Université du Québec à Montréal and obtained the Certified Management Accountants designation in 1990 (CPA). He completed the Canadian Securities course in 1992 and the Canadian Investment Manager course in 1994. He has also completed the Partners, Directors and Officers Course.
Olivier Barres is Vice President, Fixed Income and Alternative Investments at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. and he is responsible for the management of the Montrusco Bolton Alternative Fund. Olivier joined the firm in September 2005 as Analyst, Private Wealth. He then evolved in the Fixed Income field to finally assume the full responsibility for all bonds and money market strategies in 2014. It was in January 2019 that Olivier joined the Alternative investment team to launch the Montrusco Bolton Alternative Fund. Olivier holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Sherbrooke. He also holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Sylvain Boulé is President & Chief Executive Officer of Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. A graduate of Université de Montréal, Concordia University and Columbia Business School, he is also Chairman of the Board of MBI/TEC Private Debt GP Inc.
He has been involved for several years with Centre Philou and is currently Chairman of the Board of Fondation du Centre Philou.
Marion Croteau is Office Manager at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. since October 2018. She works directly with the President and Chief Executive Officer and offers support in finance, marketing and operations in order to successfully achieve corporate objectives. Prior to joining the management team, she worked at the trading desk under the Canadian equity team. Marion holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Laval University and holds the Chartered Investment Manager designation (CIM). She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at John Molson School of Business.
Joe DiMassimo is Vice President, Business Development at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. “(MBII)” and a member of the Board of Directors. Joe is an accomplished business development professional with close to 30 years of experience, providing uncompromising support and delivering proven solutions to help institutional clients succeed. Prior to joining MBII, he held several senior sales and servicing positions at some of Canada’s leading asset managers.
Joe earned a B. Comm. degree from Concordia University, majoring in finance, and later earned an MBA from Sherbrooke University.
Richard Guay is Senior Vice President and Member of the Management Committee of Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s corporate development and client servicing. Prior to joining Montrusco Bolton in 2000, Richard was a principal at State Street Global Advisors, where he was involved mainly in institutional investors relations. Previously, Richard was a financial analyst with the Bank of Canada where he was involved in domestic and international financing. He also taught at the business school of the Université du Québec à Montréal. Richard holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in finance as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Ale Niang is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. In this capacity, he is responsible for the firm’s technological alignment with respect to its business objectives. Ale Niang joined the firm in 2004. He also served as a corporate project manager and director of information technology at WSP, formerly Genivar. Mr. Niang is a graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke.
